Ember Crooks
Ember is the founder of dbms-transcoder. She has been blogging for years at datageek.blog. Ember worked with IBM’s Db2 across a variety of employers and clients, from 2001 through 2022, developing a deep expertise with Db2 and an international reputation in communicating about IBM Db2. In 2022, Ember decided to pivot her career and pick up MySQL with a career focus in that direction. She currently works as a Staff Production Engineer for Shopify. Ember has been recognized by IBM as an IBM Champion since 2013 and was an IBM Gold Consultant from 2014-2021.
